Rhanee Palma, CDME, is a provider of solutions, an innovator of inspiration and a master connector. As the Chief Sales Officer for FACE2FACE Meetings & Incentives, she is eager to utilize her many years of knowledge and experience towards helping her clients. With an activist’s passion stemming from her own diverse life experiences, Palma, a 2020 Smart Women in Meetings Innovator and a 2019 Connect Sports Game Changer has an amazing career as a leader in successful meeting operations. Rhanee’s reputation for delivering on her customers’ needs is second to none. She has a proven track record as an industry leader who is intimately familiar with hotel and destination sales. Palma is an award-winning industry veteran for over ten years and is the first Filipina-American to hold a C-Suite position at Visit Oakland and one of the first to hold the position in a convention and visitors bureau. She also previously worked with Hilton San Francisco Financial District and spent most of her career in group and area sales for Marriott International. Rhanee graduated Summa Cum Laude and highest honors with a bachelor’s degree in Women and Gender Studies, from the University of California at Berkeley. In 2019, Palma earned her CDME certification, the only integrated executive program specifically designed for the destination management industry. The focus of the program is on vision, leadership, productivity and the implementation of business strategies. The CDME designation is the tourism industry’s highest individual educational achievement. Rhanee is a member of and held leadership roles in several organizations including, CalSAE, PCMA, MPI, ASAE. She also served on the Convention Sales & Services Committee for Destinations International from 2018 – 2021. She currently lives in Sacramento, CA with her husband, four children and two cats.
